Day 5 – Greed

Psalm 102:1-28

Greed is not only about money.

It is about control, security, and trusting things more than God.

Psalm 102 reminds us how fragile life is and how eternal God is.

Psalm 102:1-28

Where have I trusted possessions or comfort more than I trust God?

Lord, I confess the ways my heart clings to things instead of to you.

I confess my desire for control and security apart from you.

Holy Spirit, loosen my grip on what cannot last.

Teach me to live with generosity and trust.
