Pastor Doug was born
in Springfield, Missouri, on August 24, 1963, and grew up in Independence and
Oak Grove, Missouri. He was saved at the young age of ten and received the
baptism in the Holy Spirit that same year. He graduated from Grain Valley (MO) High
School in 1981. Three weeks after
graduation he moved away from home to begin his career with General
Motors. He began his twelve year stent
at General Motors as a co-op student, progressing to a senior electrical
engineer. He received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering
from General Motors Institute in 1986.
Knowing that God had a call on his life to be a vocational pastor, he enrolled
in seminary at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA in 1993 and graduated in
1996 with a Masters Degree of Divinity. While at Regent he served as a small
group leader and chaplain of the School of Divinity.
Pastor Doug came to
Cross Points in July 1997, as an Associate Pastor to help develop cell groups.
His current responsibilities include overseeing the following areas/ministries:
finance, office management, human resource management, public relations,
computers, small groups (LifeGroups), First Impressions (Care Team, Agape
Greeters, Information Desk, Ushers), Christian education (LifeTools), visitor assimilation,
hospital visitation, and marriage mentors. Pastor Doug, along with his wife,
Dana, teach an eighteen week parenting class each year.
Pastor Doug and his wife, Dana, were
married on July 5, 1986, and have five boys, Micah, Daniel, Joel, Nathan, and
Jacob. In addition to being a husband and father, Doug is an accomplished
pianist and a licensed pilot. Doug loves
to listen to and play worship, classical and jazz music, play backgammon,
barbeque, and read. His favorite author is Charles Dickens, and he has compiled
a list of over 1000 classic works he intends to read in the next twenty years.
Dana stays busy managing the household, home schooling the boys, and is heavily
involved in various church ministries. She is the leader of EAU, a ministry for
women between the ages of 25-45. |

Devin Kroner came to a realization
that God had a call on his life while sitting in a youth service in 7th
grade. Since then, his sole focus has been on doing whatever it takes to serve
God and His people, wherever he is.
After starting off in ministry as a
volunteer in Illinois and working in management with Target Corp., Devin moved
to Nashville, TN, just after Christmas in 2006. As an Assistant Children’s
Pastor for one of Nashville’s largest churches, Devin was blessed to work with
thousands of great kids and hundreds of loving volunteers, while learning from
a staff of 15 incredible pastors. It was in Nashville that Devin meet his
future wife, Elizabeth, as she was working in the nursery ministry.
Both of
them knew their relationship was orchestrated by God, and in May of 2008 they
were married in a sunset wedding on the beach in Florida. After their marriage,
Devin and Elizabeth packed up and left Nashville for a brief stay in Jackson,
TN, before coming on staff at Cross Points Church as the Children’s Pastor in
August of 2009.
Within
weeks of arriving in the Kansas City area, Elizabeth went to India with her
company, Apria Healthcare, and Devin went to work bringing his energy and enthusiasm
to the children’s ministry of Cross Points. Reunited in February 2010 after
Elizabeth’s assignment ended, Devin and his wife reside in Lenexa with their
two puppies. |

Dave and Carol Sue WickershamN/A
Dave
has served for over a decade as an elder of Cross Points Church. He
specifically oversees the Young at Heart leaders.
“We
have been involved at Cross Points Church (formerly Full Faith Church
of Love) for 32 years or a little longer. My wife is Carol Sue and our
four children are all strong Christians. We sent all four children to Maranatha
for almost all of their schooling, all are graduates. Both of my daughters are
sending their children to Christian schools too. It is a sacrifice, but
by far the best thing to do,” says Dave. |
